PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT
UNIFORM COORDINATOR
The Uniform Coordinator’s position is to ensure the supply of uniforms and other club apparel is available throughout the year to enable the Mountain Tigers Basketball Club community to take to the court each week. This role is not an Executive Committee role, but one that is voluntary and required.
Duties and Responsibilities
New Uniforms

To order uniforms as needed for the Club from the nominated supplier

When orders have been sent, follow up with the supplier that delivery date is adhered to as much as possible

To organise with MTBC Treasurer for the payment of supplier

Prior to the start of each new season ensure that all families that have ordered new uniforms have been contacted when order arrives and arrange a time that it can be collected

At start of every new season update the Club member database the new player singlet numbers and any current players who have had a singlet number change.

To ensure that there is enough stock available in all short sizes for when people need replacement uniforms

Write receipts for all uniforms/basketball gear sold and supply details to MTBC Treasurer

Do twice yearly stock takes (June & December), or at any other time as requested by the MTBC Treasurer.
Loan Singlets

Check member database following team submission each season & allocate loan singlet to those members with clash numbers

Organise and liaise between families and coaches when singlet clashes occur at the start of each season. Be available to meet with families to organise a loan top for the season

Record each season a list of who has been loaned a top for the current season and obtain a deposit for the loan uniform

At the end of each season send out reminder letters to families and organise for loan tops to be returned to the club

Liaise with Treasurer banking/refunding of loan uniform deposits when loan uniform is returned to the Club

Regularly assess the quantity of loan tops in stock and re-order more if required
Alternate Singlets

Sometimes during a season there will be 2 Mountain Tigers teams play each other in the same competition grade, therefore it is necessary that one team plays in the ‘alternate singlets’.

Ensure that the club has enough alternate singlets in stock to be able to supply teams with them as required

Each week check fixture to see how many alternate tops need to be organised for the Saturday or Sunday games

Ensure that alternate tops are collected by the Team Manager on the Saturday morning prior to the games they are required for

Organise the ordering of new tops as required and with permission of committee
Relationships

Reports to the Members and General Committee of the Club

Acts as or ensures his/her delegate act in the best interests of the Club

Supports all coaches, players and committee members
Accountability
-
The Uniform Coordinator is accountable to the Members and the General Committee

Must hold a current Working with Children Check (WWC) & have signed a Member Protection Declaration
