Mountain Tigers Basketball Club is one of the largest and most progressive junior basketball clubs in the Knox Association. We cater for boys and girls across all age groups from Under 8 to Under 23 and with grades from A to E Reserve.
Age groups from Under 8 up to and including Under 16 play on Saturdays whilst Under 18, 20 and 23 play on Sunday evenings.
The club has a sound administrative and coaching structure. We have a coaching co-ordinator and a program to ensure consistency in the way in which the children are taught the basics of the game. Each season a number of coaches are funded through the Basketball Victoria Level 1 coaching course and there are several experienced coaches available to help those who are taking it on for the first time.
If you are looking for somewhere for you child to learn to play basketball then speak to one of our age group co-ordinators and come along to a training session. You will be made most welcome and will see for yourself why we believe we are one of the most progressive and best run clubs around.
The winter season commences in May 2010.
In order to allow the club to complete the team selection process the closing date for registrations is Thursday 25th March 2010. To ensure a place in a team your registration must be received prior to this date.
Registration payment nights are:
— Mater Christi College - Monday 22nd March, 6.30 – 8.00pm
— St Josephs College – Wednesday 24th March, 6.00 – 8.00pm
